Job Title: Electronics Technician
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electronics Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for electronic prototype assembly and repair, debugging of logic and power supply circuits, product testing, and generating test reports. Additional duties include repairing and troubleshooting defective circuit board assemblies to the component level, occasional light production assembly work, and organizing the electronics lab.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble and repair electronic prototypes.Debug logic and power supply circuits.Conduct product testing and generate test reports.Repair and troubleshoot defective circuit board assemblies to the component level.Perform occasional light production assembly work.Organize and maintain the electronics lab.Essential SkillsAbility to read and understand electronic schematics.Proficient in soldering, including small discrete (chip) and fine pitch (IC) SMT components.Familiarity with microprocessor-based systems.Proficient with electronic testing equipment including oscilloscopes.Familiarity with schematic editing software.Basic proficiency in Word and Excel.Strong work ethic and punctuality.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with PWM motor controls and switching power supplies is a plus.Prefer an Associate’s degree in electronics or equivalent PCBA electronics experience.Why Work Here?

This position is based in a smaller shop that is very clean and temperature-controlled, creating a comfortable and efficient working environment. You will be part of a team of 17 employees, working on the floor with all necessary tools and equipment provided.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chanhassen, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00
