Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Technician to take direction from electrical and mechanical engineers and the production department for IC replacements and building electromechanical components and systems. The ideal candidate will read electrical schematics, troubleshoot and test accordingly, and work alongside a team of production and assist assemblers on the production floor with troubleshooting. This role also involves supporting engineers in various tasks.

ResponsibilitiesTake direction from electrical and mechanical engineers and the production department for IC replacements and building electromechanical components and systems.Read electrical schematics and troubleshoot and test accordingly.Work alongside a team of production and assist assemblers on the production floor with troubleshooting.Support engineers in various tasks.Essential SkillsAbility to read electrical schematics.Proficient in operating electrical test equipment (e.g., digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies).Ability to read components and data sheets.Experience with IPC soldering.Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits.5+ years of experience in a relevant field.Additional Skills & QualificationsIPC certification for soldering is a plus but not mandatory.Work Environment

The work environment is a manufacturing setting, serving the military, defense, and aerospace industries that are all government funded. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
