Job Title: Electronics Technician

Job Description

We are seeking an Electronics Repair Technician responsible for troubleshooting, analyzing, repairing, and documenting failures of assigned products or test systems to support production. You will generate required information on causes and possible remedies, provide assistance to other technicians and engineers with evaluations or analyses of products and/or test systems, and take charge of technical support for specific production systems and products. Additionally, you will perform routine technical tasks such as maintenance and primary system care.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, analyze, repair, and document failures of assigned products or test systems to support production.Generate all required information on causes and possible remedies.Provide assistance to other technicians and engineers with detailed evaluations or analyses of products and/or test systems with minimal supervision.Take charge of technical support for specific production systems and products.Perform routine technical tasks such as maintenance and primary system care.Essential SkillsAssociate of Science degree in electronics or an equivalent qualification from a two-year college or technical school.Three years of progressive experience in electronic/mechanical repair, technical production, and a testing environment; or a combination of education and experience equivalent to the above.Proficient in reading and interpreting a variety of documents, including professional journals, technical procedures, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, assembly and disassembly instructions, schematics, factory test procedures (FTP), engineering change notices (ECNs), production change orders (PCOs), bills of materials (BOMs), and procedure manuals.Capable of writing routine reports and correspondence.Effective in presenting information to management and other employees within the organization.Competent in applying concepts of algebra, geometry, electronics theory, and related applications.Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions.Experienced in interpreting a range of technical instructions in mathematical, diagrammatic, or schedule form and managing both abstract and concrete variables.Adept at operating computers and using word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.Proficient in using test equipment.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to read, write, and speak Spanish, Vietnamese, and/or Chinese.Experience in contract manufacturing.Work Environment

The environment is fast-paced, time-pressured, and requires accuracy. The normal environment is quiet and typical of an open cubical setting with some areas that may be louder at times. Employees have access to an onsite gym and cafeteria, and they can work on a variety of project types.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $49920.00/yr.
