Electronics Technician

Currently hiring an Electronics Technician in the Lockport, IL area. Hiring immediately.

Shift: 1st shift. Monday - Friday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM.

Overtime expected...come in early/stay late. Optional Saturday.

Job Description: Use schematics, oscilloscopes, and other tools to troubleshoot PCB assembly to component level.Perform final box build, testing, and calibration of Electrical Test & Measurement equipment.Repair, test, and calibrate customer units returned for service.Complete and maintain production documentation, including repair database and inventory management.Communicate with customers regarding equipment performance and applications assistance.Work collaboratively with engineering, sales, production, and purchasing personnel.Thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic theory.Experience with standard manufacturing processes and software applications.Skilled in the use of multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and other electrical test equipment.Ability to use hand tools; SMT soldering and de-soldering is a plus.Strong attention to detail.Ability to follow verbal instructions as well as written procedures.Solid judgment and decision-making skills.Well-organized with the ability to multi-task.Ability to communicate professionally both orally and in written form.Additional Skills & Qualifications:A 2-year degree in electronics and/or military school.2+ years of experience reading schematics and effectively troubleshooting systems and circuit assemblies.Experience with electronics testing, circuit board assembly, and electronics troubleshooting.Ability to work flexible hours as needed to meet company goals.Good eye-hand coordination.Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
