Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to provide quality support to our clients, primarily within the automotive sector. The role involves ensuring clear communication between plant locations and customers, responding to requests and inquiries, investigating customer claims, and assisting engineers in creating countermeasures. The ideal candidate will monitor production activity, maintain documentation, and prepare daily reports.
ResponsibilitiesProvide and assure clear, concise communication between plant locations and customers on matters of quality performance, requirements, and documents.Respond to and monitor customer requests, requirements, and inquiries.Follow up on all requests with the team of responsible plant personnel and the customer that initiated the contact.Investigate and document the situation when a customer claim or complaint is received, and immediately take steps to sort or rework inventory at the customer location.Notify the appropriate plant manufacturing location when necessary.Assist engineers and manufacturing plants in creating countermeasures and sort standards to prevent flow out.Assist in tracking sorted and reworked parts and ensure information is recorded on applicable documents.Confirm that plant manufacturing countermeasures are effective at the customer location.Maintain and follow all rules and regulations of the plant and facility.Maintain all logs and documentation to support procedures for quality activity.Prepare and issue daily reports to all concerned members within the company.Perform other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience with electronics, electrical systems, schematics, engineering, soldering, test equipment, wiring, and electronics testing.Customer-facing skills, troubleshooting, quality control, quality assurance, and quality inspection.Skilled in the use of desktop and mainframe applications (Excel, Word, etc.).Effective interaction skills with all management levels and customer personnel.Task management, organization, oral, and written communication skills.Ability to lift 10 lbs. or more.Ability to travel.Additional Skills & Qualifications2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a Quality Assurance capacity.HS, GED, or Technical Certificate plus 3-5 years of progressive engineering experience.Bilingual preferred; English/Spanish.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility primarily manufactures automotive wire harnessing systems. The work environment involves using various technologies and equipment, maintaining plant and facility regulations, and ensuring quality standards. The position may require lifting and travel.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LEXINGTON, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.07 - $25.00/hr.
