About DTMB:
The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) (https://youtu.be/H\_IrVnVjcoA) supports the business operations of state agencies through a variety of services, including building management and maintenance, information technology, centralized contracting and procurement, budget and financial management, space planning and leasing, construction management, motor vehicle fleet operations, and oversight of the state retirement systems.
About the position: Provide management for the Southwest Region Service Center of the MPSCS radio system. Provide coaching and mentoring to remote radio shop staff. Understand department and division policies and procedures and make sure that they are consistently followed in the region. Maintain level of excellence in servicing MPSCS clients in region. Keep up with changes in technology in matters of communications and mobile data. Assure consistent service to MPSCS infrastructure and MPSCS clients through training of staff. This position is intended to be a working supervisor sharing in some of the field maintenance workload as well as supervisory duties.

Position Location: This position is located in Southwest Michigan. The Territory consists of: Cass County, Berrien County, VanBuren County, Allegan County, Kalamazoo County, Calhoun County, Barry County, Branch County and St. Joseph County.

Education
Possession of an associate's degree in Avionics, Electrical, Electro-Mechanical, or Electronics Engineering or Technology.

Four years of experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electronic equipment, including two years of experience equivalent to an Equipment Technician E10, Radio/Communications Technician E10, or Aviation Electronics Technician E11; or one year equivalent to an Equipment Technician 11, Radio/Communications Technician 11, or Aviation Electronics Technician 12.

Paid Parental Leave:Eligible employees can take 12 weeks of paid leaveimmediately after a birth or adoption to allow needed time together at home with a new child.
