Electronics Test Technician
**Job Title: RF Test Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated SR Electronics RF Test Technician for the 2nd shift to provide technical support to engineers and scientists on moderately complex components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing, modifying, reworking, and repairing electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies. **Responsibilities** + Provide technical support to engineers and scientists on moderately complex components, devices, materials, products, processes, and equipment. + Test, modify, rework, and repair electronic, optical, and mechanical assemblies. + Work from moderately complex wiring and assembly drawings, operation sheets, engineering specifications, and sketches. + Design and test prototype assemblies and production units. + Use judgment in re-working or re-wiring to bring units within quality control specifications. + Test, inspect, and repair electronic, optical, or mechanical assemblies. + Work under minimal supervision and provide guidance to other technicians. + Capable of performing related manufacturing processes. + Interpret and follow written documents such as SOPs and safety rules. + Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements applicable to the company in accordance with State and Federal regulations and any applicable certification required to maintain the certification. + Assist in training new team members. + Interface with other departments to assure efficient flow of information and materials. + Perform key performance indicators such as meeting production deadlines, ensuring the quality of finished products, monitoring raw material stock levels, and achieving compliance outcomes. + Coordinate several activities at the same time and reprioritize in response to changing operational conditions. + Perform standard testing processes on a variety of equipment and record results. + Require knowledge of industry-specific tests and testing equipment, alignment, and troubleshooting test failures. **Essential Skills** + Troubleshooting + Spectrum analyzer + Hardware + Component level troubleshooting + Circuit testing + Oscilloscope + Signal generator + RF + Radar + Hands-on testing of radars at a system level + Electronics + Electrical + Mechanical + Schematic + Soldering + PCB + Test equipment + Repair + Multimeter + Electronics testing + Circuit board + Calibration + Electronics troubleshooting **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Associate’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in the field or in a related area + Strong decision-making and leadership skills + Experienced handling small delicate components using ESD practices + Soldering and wire bonding experience a plus + Experienced in the safe handling of chemicals + Proficient in various computer applications, including Access, Excel, and Labview + Experience with MRP is a plus + Good mechanical skills **Why Work Here?** Our customer designs and manufactures software-defined radar applications for military use. These radars are used to protect our armed forces by giving them time to detect enemy threats and respond with countermeasures. **Work Environment** This is a manufacturing environment where you will be testing and troubleshooting boards and components. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
