Assembly Technician to help us develop and produce electronic signal processing and communication systems in small to medium production quantities. The Assembly Technician will be an integral part of a team working closely with electrical, software, and mechanical engineers, and production staff. What are the primary responsibilities in the Assembly Technician position? + Assemble complex electronic hardware products including installation of electrostatic discharge (ESD) sensitive circuit card assemblies inside various enclosure and chassis types + Communicate regularly with engineering and management regarding problems impacting assembly + Create and update assembly instructions What will make you successful? + Minimum 1 year of experience in a production environment building cables and wiring harnesses, including soldering & crimping + Experience using digital multi-meters (DMM) + Ability to read schematics & drawings, follow technical assembly instructions, and interpret engineering blueprints + Basic computer skills such as emailing, record keeping, and data entry for ordering & inventory transactions + HS Diploma and Associates Degree (or equivalent 2 years of post-high school relevant work experience) + US Citizenship Required Preferred skills: + 3+ years of experience in a production environment building cables and wiring harnesses, including soldering & crimping + Experience supporting continuous improvement projects to impact production safety, quality, delivery lead times, and/or cost + Basic understanding of electrical components (ex: resistor, capacitor, diode, integrated circuit) + Experience supporting quality assurance Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $33.00/hr.
