The Electronics Test Technician is a key contributor in delivering robust and reliable electronic products to our customers. The Electronics Test Technician supports product development throughout the project lifecycle by assembling, repairing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic products. The Electronics Test Technician is proficient in Electromechanical assembly and hand soldering, and is capable of conducting electronic product testing using automated tests and common test equipment.
The Electronic Test Technician will support and perform qualification testing of electronic products to ensure product reliability and quality standards. They will also support product development efforts by building prototypes, which may include assembly, repair, and performing DVT (design verification testing). The employee will work as a part of a small, agile, and fast paced project team, consisting of Engineering, Manufacturing, and Project Management to deliver tested products within the specified project constraints.
Responsibilities
Review and understand hardware and system requirements, evaluate and recommend appropriate test methodologies, and develop required test fixtures. Apply automation techniques for a variety of test scenarios. Review manufacturing processes and test flows and provide feedback for best practices to improve throughput efficiency. Support Engineering team supporting product integration and test. Execute applicable tests and document test results and procedures where needed (vibration, thermal qualifications, tensile testing, etc.…) Investigate failure root causes and recommend actions to enhance the system and equipment reliability. Generate data collection procedures, execute data collection, and provide reports to design engineers and management. The base salary range for this position is $58,000 to $105,300. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

* 2-5 years of experience working in commercial/government space environment. Excellent interpersonal skills. Experienced with Microsoft Office programs, i.e., Excel, Word, Outlook. Experienced with TestStand Systems. Ability to multi-task, great attention to detail, and excellent critical decision making. Familiar with RF and Digital test equipment like Network and Spectrum Analyzers, power supplies, power meters, and multimeters.
