Electronics TS Technician

Job Summary:
Supports production and engineering by troubleshooting, repairing, and testing electronic circuit boards and assemblies, while assisting in test station development and updates.

Job Requirements: 2-year degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Technology with 1+ years of electrical technician work experience; OR 2-year degree with 4+ years of work experience; OR non-degree with 7+ years of electrical technician work experience Proficiency in using digital test meters, oscilloscopes, RF instrumentation, and analog/digital test equipment Experience with product firmware/software installation and cable construction Proficiency in troubleshooting electronics and electro-mechanical systems down to the component level Familiarity with soldering techniques involving through-hole and fine-pitch SMT components Ability to generate technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and construction manuals Ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (U.S. citizenship required) Preferred Skills: Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Strong writing skills for generating technical documentation and lab notes Willingness to assist in drawing or modifying diagrams and writing product specifications Job Responsibilities: Troubleshoots and repairs electronic circuit boards used in production Modifies electronic and electro-mechanical systems as required Tests developmental and production-related products using appropriate test equipment Builds customized test and interface units and devices Collaborates with engineers to solve electrical and operational issues Supports engineering in developing and updating production test stations Documents, repairs, and assembles electrical systems using hand tools and measuring instruments Assists in the design and development of electrical and electromechanical assemblies and equipment

Pay Details: $27.00 to $33.00 per hour
