GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Assists and supports the nurses and physicians with diagnostic and interventional procedures.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists with electrophysiology procedures. Operates laboratory and imaging equipment used in the performance of electrophysiology studies. Troubleshoots equipment malfunctions and contacts proper support personnel. (60%)Performs sheath removal. (15%)May maintain the inventory and station management system for supplies. (10%)Performs technical interrogation of implanted devices (15%)Performs other duties as assigned or required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

Associates degree or equivalent experienceRegistered ARRT TechnologistACLS or BLS3 years experience as a general Radiology Tech

Preferred

One year experience in Electrophysiology or Cath Lab
