JOB GOALS: Provide high-quality instruction within a small school environment where every student is known and valued as an individual; uphold the mission and values of AIMS and contribute to our goal that every student in California has access to a high-quality public education. RESPONSIBILITIES: -Direct paraprofessionals for the purpose of providing an effective classroom program and addressing the needs of individual students -Participate in and/or coordinate a variety of meetings (e.g. Professional Learning Community, IEP, Grade Level, school-wide) for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions. -Prepare a variety of written materials (e.g. grades, attendance, anecdotal records, etc.) for the purpose of documenting student progress and meeting mandated requirements. -Assist in planning and delivering professional development and learning experiences to teachers and school site staff -Actively seek and participate in professional development opportunities to remain current with federal and state special education guidelines -Maintain accurate student records and ensure compliance with all state and federal laws, local board policies, and administrative guidelines -Provide support with transportation for students with disabilities or act as the point-person for students with transportation services as necessary AIMS K-12 College Prep Charter District does not provide J1 or H1B Visa Sponsorship.
