Job Title: Install Mechanic
Job Description Are you ready to elevate your career? Join our team as an Install Mechanic, where you'll be responsible for the installation of residential elevator systems. Initially, you'll assist with handling materials already at the job site, including rails and systems, and support the attachment of mounting systems and rails for the elevator shaft. You'll also help rig elevators into shafts, perform mechanical assemblies of elevator cabs, cabinets, and walls according to specifications, and work from prints and drawings.
Work Environment
Quiet and conducive to focused work.1st shift schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.Break: 10:00 to 10:30 AM.Lunch: 12:00 to 12:30 PM.Standard 40-hour work week.Weekly pay.Responsibilities
Assist with the installation of residential elevator systems.Handle materials including 8-10ft long rails and lift up to 50lbs.Assist in the attachment of mounting systems and rails for the elevator shaft.Perform mechanical assemblies of elevator cabs, cabinets, and walls according to specifications.Assist in rigging elevators into shafts.Measure, install, and use hand and power tools.Work from prints and drawings.Essential Skills
Mechanical aptitude.Experience with construction and hand tools.Ability to follow directions and instructions.Capability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and bending.Comfortable working in elevator shafts and at heights up to 40ft.Understanding of carpentry, HVAC, blueprints, general labor, assembly, power tools, installation, cable pulling, electrical, troubleshooting, mechanical, and framing.Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
