Eligibility/Intake Specialist
Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Compliance Reviewer in the non-profit sector located in Cleveland, Ohio. This role will involve working directly with families to determine their eligibility for participation in various programs. It will also involve maintaining accurate records, assisting with the enrolment process, and providing reports to program management. Responsibilities: • Communicate effectively with applicant families regarding their eligibility status. • Maintain and update program files accurately, including correcting errors based on third level review. • Assist families with program enrolment, including helping with application paperwork and providing information about relevant processes and forms. • Enter complete and accurate information into database management systems. • Provide reports to program management and partners as directed and required. • Assist in the set-up and tear-down of daily appointments throughout the community. • Host daily appointments to assist applicant families with the completion of application paperwork and the collection of required documentation. • Travel to various community locations where appointments are hosted Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools including Microsoft Office 365 • In-depth understanding and use of Microsoft Office Suites • Experience or background in Human Services • Previous role as a Sunday School Teacher is desirable • Tutoring experience is considered an asset • Prior experience in a Preschool environment • Familiarity with Public Schools and their compliance requirements • Strong analytical skills for reviewing compliance documents • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information • Knowledge of non-profit sector regulations and compliance standards • Proven track record of being detail-oriented and maintaining ethical behavior.
