Our people division is growing, and we are looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our Community Engagement & Development and Native American Affairs Department. The Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to both the Community Engagement & Development and Native American Affairs teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer skills, organization, time management, and communication skills, exhibit thorough attention to detail, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.

Responsibilities:
Manage the team’s document control system and ensure proper organization to achieve team efficiency and legal compliance. Order and maintain inventory of office supplies and equipment. Manage team calendars and coordinate meetings and events. Manage the creation and processing of requisitions, vendor onboarding, invoices, and expense reports, while ensuring accurate budget tracking. Prepare meeting agendas and take minutes. Coordinate travel arrangements, including transportation and accommodations. Prepare, edit, and format documents, reports, and presentations. Address and resolve any administrative issues or challenges that arise. Assist with special project and initiatives as assigned. Manage incoming and outgoing communications. Provide onboarding training for incoming CED and NAA personnel. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience with word processing and technical writing skills preferred Ability to work with minimum supervision required Verifiable experience using Microsoft Office products required Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Strong skills in Microsoft SharePoint preferred Demonstrated ability to communicate and interact effectively with a wide variety of people required Experience in the area of community engagement is an asset Ability to work safely and in an environmentally friendly manner required Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of this job required Two (2) years of office/clerical experience preferred
