About the Job: We are seeking a detail-oriented, strategic Email Marketing Specialist to join the team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and optimizing email marketing campaigns, analyzing campaign performance and contributing to sales growth targets for the email marketing channel.

 

 

A day in the life, what you’ll be doing:  

 

 

Oversee development, execution and optimization of email marketing campaigns, including promotional, brand launch, editorial, and event-driven emails. Execute financial forecasting of email performance by day and week. o Determine the impact of promotions, products, segmentation and file size. o Provide recommendations for action based on the findings. Monitor and analyze the performance of email campaigns, providing regular reports on key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversion rates, and ROI. Utilize A/B testing to continuously improve email performance. Present insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize future campaigns. Develop email cadence/calendar that meets financial goals while also communicating go-to market strategy and brand storytelling. Collaborate with Direct Planning, Direct Merchandising, E-Commerce, and Brand Marketing teams to support email development and execution. Segment email campaigns based on various criteria including demographics, past behaviors, and engagement levels Ensure email deliverability and compliance with relevant regulations. Implement best practices for email marketing, including subject lines, copywriting, design, and call-to-actions. Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in email marketing. Career Level: Assist with other marketing initiatives as needed to support the team’s overall goals.

 

 

What it takes to Join:

 

B.A./B.S. Degree; degree in marketing preferred. 2-5 years’ experience in email marketing or other analytical online marketing. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Database experience is a plus). Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g. Cordial, Klayvio) Marketing experience, and ability to identify consumer needs/wants and develop a compelling value proposition to drive email acquisition. Strong analytic skills, and experience with data analysis tools (e.g. Google Analytics). Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to efficiently and effectively self-direct and prioritize work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams. Ability to operate efficiently at a tactical level against strategic goals.

 

Salary Range: $65,430-$74,880

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. As a National Retailer, occasional evening and/or weekend work may be required during periods of high volume.
