Kforce's client, a growing and established engineering technology company is seeking an Embedded Firmware Engineer. We are working directly with the hiring manager on this search assignment. Responsibilities: * Develop and implement firmware architectures for complex systems, particularly electro-mechanical devices, and calibration equipment * Embedded Firmware Engineer, will work closely with our engineering team to design, develop, and test software for their electro-mechanical systems and devices * Design, develop, and implement firmware for embedded systems, focusing on modular programming and programming by blocks * Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to integrate firmware with circuit designs, ensuring seamless functionality * Monitor resource usage (e.g. memory) and optimize system performance * Develop, implement, and maintain over-the-air (OTA) update strategies to ensure devices remain up-to-date and secure * Conduct thorough testing and debugging of firmware to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards * Provide technical support and troubleshooting for deployed devices and collaborate with cross-functional teams * Document design specifications, testing procedures, and firmware architecture
