Job Title: Embedded Hardware Engineer
Job Description

The Electrical Engineer will be working alongside a Research & Development (R&D) team to develop automated pipetting instrumentation. The role involves working with a team of 10 interdisciplinary engineers to take projects through the entire product development life cycle. The primary focus will be on hardware design, but there will also be involvement with firmware development.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop hardware and firmware specifications for new products.Participate in design teams, design reviews, and engineering verification activities, ensuring compliance with safety standards.Specify components, design tests, and collaborate with production to address potential issues.Manage projects with timelines, budgets, and scopes.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.2+ years of experience with Altium design.2+ years of experience with embedded programming in C or C++.2+ years of experience with firmware development.2+ years of experience working in LabVIEW for test protocols.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with FPGA and motion control.Strong project management skills.Work Environment

The role is set in an R&D environment focused on developing new technology. Working with a small team will allow for a broad scope of work, avoiding specialization in a narrow area. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate closely with an experienced team member during the initial phase of your employment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $37.50 - $53.00
