Embedded S/W Engineer
Job Title: Embedded S/W EngineerJob Description Missiles & Fire Control is seeking a qualified Software Engineer to work in the Grand Prairie, TX office. This position is for developing embedded real-time software on PAC-3 products. The software is being developed using the C++ computer language; therefore, knowledge of C++ 11 or higher is required. The candidate will experience all phases of software development ranging from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing. The candidate must already have an active SECRET security clearance. Responsibilities + Develop embedded real-time software for PAC-3 products using C++. + Engage in all phases of software development including requirements analysis, code implementation, and formal qualification testing. + Collaborate on software architecture development. + Develop software for Linux (CentOS) and Real-Time Operating Systems (VxWorks) targets. + Utilize knowledge of continuous integration and building/maintaining a software factory. Essential Skills + C++ (11 or higher) + Linux + Real-time embedded software development + Active secret clearance Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with the Ada programming language + Experience with VxWorks + Linux CentOS experience + Experience in software architecture development + Knowledge of continuous integration and building/maintaining a software factory + Bachelor's Degree Work Environment Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance to start and must work full-time onsite. The work schedule is 4/10s first shift. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $62.00 - $62.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
