As part of an elite RF transceiver team, you’ll be working on low-level embedded software development/verification and sophisticated infrastructure for developing groundbreaking embedded firmware that delivers more performance in our products than ever before. In this role, you will contribute to the design, implementation, bring up & verification of low-level embedded software, infrastructure, and tools for developing & verifying real-time control firmware for complex cellular transceiver sub-systems. This position requires close collaboration with our firmware, DevOps, CAD, system, and system verification/integration engineers.
**Description**
Responsible for design, implementation, bringup & verification of low-level embedded software, tools, infrastructure development and maintenance to aid robust firmware development and verification, in collaboration with firmware, virtual prototype, CAD, System validation, and other teams. Develop and maintain shell scripts and Python infrastructure and contribute to existing libraries for cellular verification Support firmware and system validation teams during pre & post-silicon bring-up. Set up, maintain, and improve repositories and quality gate continuous integration/deployment pre & post-integration pipelines.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ BS with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
+ Working experience in low-level embedded software development, bringup, and verification for complex cellular transceiver sub-systems.
+ Excellent command of C and C++.
+ Proficient in Python and shell scripting.
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

**Preferred Qualifications**
+ MSEE, MSCE or MSCS or beyond is preferred.
+ Experience in improving and maintaining the development and debug environments, tools, and methodologies on Linux/MacOS.
+ Working experience with compilers and build(Make/CMake) files.
+ Hands-on experience with branching strategies, code management tools like Git/GitLab/GitHub, and continuous integration and deployment tools like GitLab, Jenkins etc..
+ Have a good understanding and working experience with Splunk, REST Web Services, JSON, YAML, XML.

The base pay range for this role is between $135,400 and $250,600, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
