Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will spend 50% of your time resolving issues or developing solutions to prevent issues in products, 25% on developing new features, and 25% coordinating with hardware and software groups. This position offers a great opportunity for leadership and the chance to work with customers and internal stakeholders, particularly supporting Class 3 medical devices, making your work truly impactful.
ResponsibilitiesResolve issues and develop solutions to prevent issues in products.Develop new features for embedded systems and real-time systems.Coordinate with hardware and software groups to ensure seamless integration and development.Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to support product development.Essential SkillsExperience working with embedded systems or real-time systems.Proficiency in modern C++ (11/14/17/20).Hands-on experience with devices in both office and clinical/lab environments.A solutions-oriented mindset that embraces change.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with real-time operating systems like VxWorks is a plus.Familiarity with products such as Trima is a plus.A team player who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional engineers.Work Environment
You will be working on a team of four, including one other developer, one data specialist, and one release engineer. The team covers 43 different products that contain software and over 115 fielded versions. This position requires 100% onsite work.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $135000.00
