Description
We are looking for a highly skilled embedded software engineer to support one of our automotive clients with application development. This candidate must have 5 or more years of experience in Golang or Rust low-level programming. This role is 50% to 70% development, 20% reviewing code and the rest will be debugging issues.
Responsibilities:
Develop high-quality, testable software Contribute to system architecture and design Evaluate and improve control strategies and algorithms Debug issues in the field and devise solution paths Collaborate with validation teams to develop integration test strategiesQualifications
5+ years of professional software development experience using application layer languages like Golang, Java, C/C++, and Python Experience writing unit tests and practicing test-driven development. Comfortable with multi-tasking, prioritizing, and working in a fast-paced environment. Experience developing mission-critical applications on embedded Linux. Strong communications skills preferred. Experience with software development for IoT platforms (Internet of Things) and developing mission-critical applications on embedded Linux. Experience with JSON, Protobuf, REST, HTTP/S, Ethernet, CAN; And Control systems Experience with electrical grid, AC/DC power, power converters, etcExperience Level

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00
