Job Description
Develop, research, design, implement, test, and evaluate software and systems in conjunction with hardware product development. Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to enable computers to perform their applications.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate the interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of the overall system.Formulate and design software systems using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure the outcome and consequences of design.Develop and direct software system testing procedures, programming, and documentation.Consult with customers concerning maintenance of software systems.Coordinate the installation of software systems.Essential SkillsProficiency in C++ and Embedded C/C++.Experience with Linux and Windows operating systems.Knowledge of integrated sensor systems and command & control.Familiarity with communication protocols such as UART, I2C, TCP, UDP.Understanding of cyber security principles.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with A/V (Audio/Video) systems.Radar System Experience.Optical Detection System Experience.FPGA Experience.Background in Electrical Engineering.Work Environment
Work onsite 3-5 days a week. Travel to Israel for up to 3-4 two-week sessions. Work involves protecting the warfighter.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00
