Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in designing, developing, and testing embedded systems. You will work on software development for embedded hardware, ensuring high performance, reliability, and real-time functionality.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement embedded software solutions for a variety of applications.Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize software performance and ensure seamless integration with embedded systems.Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C/C++ or other relevant languages.Develop and execute unit tests, debug, and troubleshoot software and hardware issues.Participate in design reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.Analyze system requirements and contribute to project planning and timelines.Stay current with industry trends and new technologies in embedded systems development.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in embedded software development.Proficient in C/C++ programming languages.Solid understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS).Experience with hardware interfaces like UART, SPI, I2C, GPIO, etc.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with embedded Linux or other advanced RTOS platforms.Knowledge of hardware design and experience working closely with hardware teams.Experience in low-level programming and debugging tools.Development experience for 32-bit ARM processors, bare metal.Customer-facing experience and strong interpersonal skills.Bachelor's degree in software or hardware engineering.Experience with USB, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $80.00/hr.
