Job Description
+ The Embedded Software Engineer will design, develop, and test software for new products as well as maintain the software for existing products.
+ The Software Engineer will also be responsible for leading projects which include managing scope, schedule, task definitions, and risk management.
+ Will primarily use C/C++ programming languages for embedded hardware & applications.
+ Will need to be able to create timelines and tasks needed to complete full-product lifecycle, as well as delegate tasks to other Engineers.
+ Work closely with small team of Software and Hardware Engineers in a collaborative nature.
Responsibilities
+ Design, develop, and test software for new products.
+ Maintain software for existing products.
+ Lead projects including managing scope, schedule, task definitions, and risk management.
+ Create and update project schedules.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
+ 10+ years of embedded development experience.
+ Proficiency in Embedded C.
+ Experience with project and program management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong framework knowledge - able to look at product needs from both a Micro and Macro viewpoint.
+ Strong project and task management
Work Environment
+ This role offers the opportunity to lead a team and manage projects from concept to production.
+ The work environment is dynamic and requires strong project management skills to handle various aspects of software development and maintenance.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $80.00/hr.
