Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer
Job Description

Design, develop, and integrate software for new product development. Provide support for software on legacy airborne surveillance products. Engage in requirements and design, software architecture and coding, integration, certification, testing, and customer support.

ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and integrate software for new product development.Support software for legacy airborne surveillance products.Engage in requirements gathering and design.Develop software architecture and write code.Perform software integration.Participate in certification processes.Conduct testing.Provide customer support.Essential SkillsAbility to code in multiple languages.Strong analytical and software development skills.Experience with DO178 and RTOS.Proficiency in C++ and embedded software development.Recent experience (within the last year) working on low-level hardware software interface projects for avionics, such as 429, 629, Ethernet, and/or CAN BUS.5+ years of experience in DO 178 avionic hardware software development projects.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics.5+ years of embedded software engineering experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with avionics systems and platforms (FMS, flight controls, cockpit, etc.).Knowledge of I/O.Experience with Visual Studio.Experience with Doors NG.Experience with BitBucket.High-level requirements analysis for test coverage.Low-level requirements analysis for test coverage and structural coverage.Work Environment

The position can be remote, but preference is given to onsite individuals at the Performance Cave Creek Arizona office, which offers hybrid options.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
