Kforce has a medical device client in Peabody, MA that is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to work on a Linux distribution migration project. Preferred candidates will be able to be onsite in Massachusetts on a hybrid/as needed basis. Roles and Responsibilities for Embedded Software Engineer (Linux, Security): * Lead migration of Linux distribution from Kirkstone to Scarthgap * As an Embedded Software Engineer, you will build custom Linux distributions in Yocto/Bitbake * Implement cyber security measures in embedded system to ensure confidentiality of patient information * Collaborate with global teams on project updates and deliverables
