Job Title: Embedded Software Integrator
Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Integrator to join our team and contribute to the development and improvement of our NextGen Radar pipeline and the upgrade of our legacy Radar systems. This role requires a passion for driving improvement through test automation, creative solutions, and the elimination of non-value steps. The ideal candidate will be productive in a collaborative team setting, working with engineers of all levels, and possess the ability to debug and correct issues in our various software baselines.

ResponsibilitiesPerform integration and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools on various operating systems including Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL), Solaris, WindRiver VxWorks, and Mercury Computer.Collaborate with Systems Engineering to integrate vendor equipment, components, and systems with our equipment.Maintain and enhance tooling infrastructure.Achieve coding quality metrics and provide well-documented and commented code.Handle complex situations efficiently and effectively.Essential Skills7-10 years of experience with Embedded C.Proficiency in Linux operating systems (Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL), Solaris, WindRiver VxWorks, and Mercury Computer.Experience with debugging embedded software.Familiarity with network protocols such as UDP, TCP/IP, and SNMP.Proficiency in GitLab and Jira.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics with 7+ years of experience.Experience with BitBucket, Artifactory, Grafana, Perforce, Confluence, Jenkins Servers.Experience with Matlab.Knowledge of Agile Methodology.Experience with development tools such as Scitools Understand, GoogleTest.Experience with server environments and cybersecurity methodologies.Eligibility for professional registration (Professional Engineer) under the provincial Association of Professional Engineers.Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.Ability to travel globally for short periods.Experience with Radar Systems and Radar Communications Systems Software development and testing.Cybersecurity professional.Experience with Collaborator or other source code review tools.Experience with Coverity or other static analysis tools.Work Environment

This role offers flexibility with a hybrid work schedule, requiring 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. While software development tasks are often completed remotely, new projects may necessitate a minimum of 2 days on-site.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $52.00/hr.
