Embedded Systems Engineer
Job Title: Electronics Engineer Job Description We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our small team of EE and FW engineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for a mix of hardware and firmware design, typically split 50% between hardware and circuit design and 50% firmware design and development. As a member of a multi-disciplined technical, cross-functional product development team, you will design, develop, and qualify embedded products from ideation to full production launch. Responsibilities + Design and develop hardware and firmware for embedded products. + Work with Microchip controllers. + Utilize communication protocols such as CAN, PWM, I2C, UART, and SPI. + Use tools such as MPLAB X IDE, XC compilers, In-Circuit Emulators, USB-CAN interface adapters, logic analyzers, and embedded monitors. + Employ configuration management tools such as SVN. + Debug firmware in a lab environment using an oscilloscope and digital multi-meter. Essential Skills + 3+ years of experience in hardware and firmware design. + Ability to work collaboratively on multi-disciplined technical, cross-functional product development teams. + Proficiency in debugging firmware in a lab environment using an oscilloscope and digital multi-meter. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with microcontrollers and firmware design. + Knowledge of embedded systems and software/hardware design. + Familiarity with Microchip, ARM, and configuration management tools such as SVN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
