Title:
EMC Senior Electrical EngineerKBR is seeking a highly motivated self-starter, adaptable to a fast-paced exciting environment as a Senior Electrical Engineer, to support the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) contract at NAS Patuxent River, MD. This work is with a high operational tempo team working on innovative technologies to maintain air and sea superiority in support of the Integrated Combats Environments (ICE) Division. In this position, you provide technical support to the Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and TEMPEST Branches.
Responsibilities:
Assists with engineering projects in accordance with the established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by KBR.Applies E3 engineering principles to investigate, analyze, plan, and design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate military weapons systems. Attends preliminary, critical, and other design reviews to ensure E3 requirements are properly defined and implemented.Assists with reviews and preparation of engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. Assist with functions such as system integration, qualification testing, or acquisition and resource management. Provides support to the AD6220M Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Branch Head with respect to the required Test and Evaluation support efforts.Required Experience: Minimum of 25 years experience in electrical/electronics and telecommunications engineering for military aircraft design, development, test, evaluations, and reporting. Minimum of 25 years experience in TEMPEST and COMSEC engineering, requirements, and standards.
Security Clearance Requirement: Secret security clearance. U.S. Citizenship.
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 hours/week
Compensation: $165,000 - 206,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, contract affordability and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation: KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of a sign-on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
