Your role
The EMEA Lens Wholesale Marketing team is looking for an experienced and skilled Brand Manager to lead the development the Varilux brand, the flagship brand in the presbyopia category.
Main Responsabilities
Develop and implement the roadmap for Varilux in the EMEA region, inspired from the global guidelines while adapting to the Region's challenges, particularly the disparities between countries in terms of PAL penetration. Drive Varilux growth in the Region, setting priorities to achieve ambitious yearly budget targets while preparing for medium & long term ambitions. Maximize our innovation capabilities across all fronts to defend our superiority while creating value, by defining the launch strategy and implementation (pricing, BtoB engagement, BtoC activation,…) Communicate in BtoC the brand’s superiority while dominating the acceptance of the category, in relation with the global Media and PR teams Amplify the pivotal role of medical prescriptions in favor of the category and/or Varilux, together with the Head of Education and Professional Relations and Leonardo Teams Develop cross-category initiatives with Instruments in order to further increase unique instore protocols and personalized lenses AND with Frames to promote co-branded offers Increase our number of doors and/or our current customers’ productivity by having Varilux’s value proposal strong and competitive and by successfully leveraging our partnership programs with Ecps.
Other general R&R related to the role:
Define value creation: pricing strategy, product positioning, margin Key contact for Operations: forecasting, product definition & rationalization, market roll-out etc... Energize our local network to ensure a high level of focus on Varilux within the marketing and sales teams across the countries. Follow up of the business performance : sales tracking, in market performance, and implementation of required corrective actions in collaboration with the Business Intelligence Team
Main requirements:
3-5 years of experience with B2B-2C brand management and business development Mastering all the aspects of the Marketing Mix: pricing, product, distribution, promotion This person should have proven success in building Go To Market Plans for innovative products Ideally, solid background in the Optical, Eyewear or Health industry

Strong analytical skills - ability to conceptualize new ideas, strategies, build value creation Strong communication skills to align the EL Marketing Community with EMEA guidelines. Proactive and takes initiative Keen to understand the technology behind the ophthalmic lenses Ability to think out of the box, agility in blurred or complex environment Excellent interpersonal skills and leadership skills to influence, build credibility and create his/her network within the Group Team player, ability to work with diverse groups Strong proficiency in English (written and spoken)
