Strategy Analyst, EMEA Health & Talent Solutions

This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to be based in any of our key countries in EMEA.

What will the Day Look Like:
Reporting to the Head of Strategy, the Strategy Analyst will work in close collaboration with colleagues from across the region and the Health &Talent Solutions Executive Leadership team to define, develop and support the delivery of strategic activity. Examples of responsibilities for the role include:
+ Leading and supporting projects and initiatives in support of the regional strategy. This will include assisting colleagues with consulting support on strategic delivery, helping define the path to our goals, identifying and delivering improvements to the organisational structure, and working with external partners to help respond to an ever-evolving market landscape.
+ Measuring and monitoring the status of overall strategic delivery progress. This will include leading regular reviews with leadership to determine progress against the strategic plan and identifying and helping to clear any blockers that arise. Key to this will be defining targets and measures of success, conducting data analysis, working with individuals and teams to record performance information, and facilitating action-oriented conversations with senior leadership.
+ Building strong internal relationships within the business to support delivery aligned to agreed timescales and milestones. This will include engaging in strategic discussion with colleagues and wider stakeholders, providing support and advice and identifying future strategic opportunities.
+ Working with the Head of Strategy to support the prioritisation of activity, building strong relationships, cementing a clear and valued role within the organisation whilst delivering to a high level and considering opportunities to refine working processes to ensure continuous improvement.

The EMEA Health & Talent Executive Leadership team is a small, driven, close-knit team who work collaboratively to collectively deliver on the team’s aims and objectives. Therefore, the post-holder will be expected to work flexibly with the rest of the team, prioritising deliverables as they are required by the Head of Strategy, and members of the EMEA Health & Talent Executive Leadership.
Essential skills and experience that will lead to success
The role holder will have a good understanding of the Health & Talent Solutions Consulting and Broking business across EMEA, and the following key skills and experience:
+ Experience of Strategy – You will have experience of working on organisational strategy, either through a top management consultancy, or through an internal strategy role, ideally in the insurance / financial services sector.
+ Experience of project based problem-solving - You have experience working on complex, multifaceted problems with multiple senior stakeholders. You are able to scope an ambiguous problem and break it down into logically distinct parts to resolve it.
+ Leadership - You are comfortable in taking ownership and are proactive in your work style. You demonstrate an ability to effectively balance this with bringing others along and seeking input and guidance required to reach a quality conclusion.
+ Stakeholder engagement - You are a natural relationship-builder and see engaging others in your work as a core part of the role and plan accordingly. You are comfortable engaging with all levels of business stakeholders, anticipating their needs and concerns, facilitating efficient and value-adding inputs and proactively bringing them with you.
+ Analytical skills - You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable and efficient deriving insights from both quantitative and qualitative information, including a strong level of competence with spreadsheets and data analysis.
+ Communication skills – You are experienced in delivering high quality written and verbal outputs and a demonstrated ability to synthesise complex issues into clear and concise messages for senior audiences.
+ Creativity - You are open to new ways of working and thinking and bring an open-mindedness and intellectual curiosity to your work. You are comfortable constructively disagreeing with others and know when to switch modes effectively and sensitively - knowing when to open up a conversation with bold and unusual ideas and when to narrow it down to generate focus and momentum.
