Job Description Position: EMEA Marketing Project Manager Job type: Full time, Permanent Location: Milton Keynes (UK), Madrid (Spain), Harderwijk (Netherlands), or Johannesburg (South Africa) with hybrid working opportunities Reporting to: EMEA Production Manager About the role The EMEA Marketing Project Manager, reporting into the EMEA Production Manager, assumes a pivotal role in spearheading project orchestration for the EMEA Marketing team with a focus on Trek brand and retail marketing initiatives in our European and South African subsidiary businesses. In this multifaceted role, this individual ensures the alignment and progress of various cross-functional teams, maintains and enhances project timelines within our project management software, manages project scope, and consistently delivers project requirements with punctuality. Position responsibilities: Planning long-term: + Collaborate with the EMEA Marketing team, in-market subsidiary marketing teams, and global HQ marketing colleagues to create long-term plans for requested projects, including mapping out campaign dates. + Ensure project success and the well-being of team members by effectively balancing resources. + Identify and document any delays in project launches or completions due to resource constraints. + Communicate resource concerns and provide recommendations for resolution. Planning projects: + Collaborate with project requestors to understand project goals and gather requirements. + Establish project milestones that align resources across different departments. + Determine project kick-off dates and timelines in coordination with team members. + Facilitate project meetings from the initial soft kick-off through various stages of the project lifecycle. + Track lessons learned and continuously improve project templates for future projects. + Streamline project tasks to minimize redundancy and save time. Leading projects: + Ensure the timely delivery of projects by verifying that team members complete tasks within the project's scope and parameters. + Ensure that the project team comprehends project objectives, deliverables, timelines, and tasks and is committed to meeting or exceeding the project plan. + Collaborate closely with project owners to maintain accurate project timelines and identifies and addresses bottlenecks. Developing teams: + Regularly review team concerns and questions, providing solutions as needed. + Become a super user and assist in the development of the organization's project management tool, Workfront. + Assist team members in using the project planning software tool (Workfront) as required. Developing processes: + Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop processes for cross functional project teams. + Analyse lessons learned and update processes as necessary, communicating these updates to the relevant team members. + Drive continuous improvements in all areas, with a focus on optimizing processes. Communication: + Excel in communication by effectively conveying project progress and team development. + Lead high-quality meetings, including project kick-offs, scrums, and after-action reviews, to ensure effective communication and alignment among team members. Position requirements: + Minimum of 1 year project management experience. + Ability to lead cross-functional project teams. + Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. + Effective communication skills and fluent in English language. + Ability to work independently and make decisions autonomously when necessary. + Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. + Comprehensive understanding of creative development. + Experience with workfront is advantageous. + Availability to attend some evening meetings when required to coordinate with global teams (CST).
