EMEA Payroll Manager - Fixed Term Contract (15 months)

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? Wells Fargo is on the lookout for an EMEA Payroll Manager, and we want you to join our dynamic team at our London Office. In this pivotal role, you'll find yourself reporting directly to our International Head of HR & Workforce Operations and Payroll, overseeing a talented team of four dedicated professionals.

As the EMEA Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will encompass the entire payroll process, from data processing and meticulous validations to swift issue resolution. Your keen eye for detail will ensure compliance with all policies and laws, leaving no room for error. Beyond this, your role will extend to support our senior leadership team in the execution of our Global HR strategy. You will lead your team in achieving our business objectives while actively mitigating payroll regulatory risks by staying ahead of industry changes and implementing innovative payroll approaches.

In this role, you will:

Manage the team to deliver accurate and timely payrolls across the EMEA region, ensuring compliance with local legislation (France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Sweden, UAE, UK).Support the team with decision making and act as first point of contact for issue / query escalations.Work closely with our risk partners to meet our Audit, Control and Risk obligations, reporting any issues and / or risks per Wells Fargo policy.Support in-flight projects such as Service Delivery Model changesExpand working relationship with APAC region to define international framework for Payroll activity, with a focus on simplifying end to end process and aligning practices of financial controls related to payroll activities.Mitigate payroll regulatory risks by monitoring upcoming industry changes and supporting the team to implement new payroll approaches and practices.Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers and other HR functions.Lead team to achieve business objectives and Global HR Strategy.Manage allocation of people and financial resources for PayrollMentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent

Required Qualifications:

Experience in Payroll, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, educationLeadership experienceExperience in International Payroll (preferably EMEA region)
