EMEA Payroll Specialist

The Job

To support the EMEA People team with providing a professional, accurate, confidential and efficient payroll service that enables the smooth delivery of Payroll processes to all functions within AVEVA. You will be supporting and processing the EMEA payrolls, managing the outsourced process. 

Responsibilities

Support internal & external audits across EMEAResponsible for end-to-end payroll process of assigned EMEA payrolls in coordination with out-sourced providerResponsible for delivering payroll/accounting month end proceduresWork with the business to answer complex payroll queriesSupport HR function to resolve payroll related issuesTimely and accurate input of required information from the HRIS system and email instructions.Ensuring completion of appropriate statutory returns and other statutory reporting informationDealing with all payroll related queries directly and confidentlyMaintaining information in accordance with legal and company requirements of retention and confidentialityMaintaining an up to date working knowledge of company and legislative requirements in area of responsibility and advising colleagues on the impact of any changes or improvements put forward or required

Skills & Qualifications

At least 2 years experience within an EMEA payroll environmentExperienced customer service skillsExperience of working with multiple policies and bargaining agreements across EuropeMicrosoft Office excellenceExcellent stakeholder management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience of Finance processes including GL managementKnowledge of WorkdayCIPP qualification

Hybrid working

By default, employees are expected to be in their local AVEVA office three days a week, but some positions are fully office-based. Roles supporting particular customers or markets are sometimes remote.
