As part of the EMEA CARE Team, responsible for strategic supplier relationship management with an EMEA scope and environment on Personal care industry. Drive growth by supporting the sales business unit and maintain a healthy & sustainable supplier relationship. This position report to the Head of Supplier Management Personal care EMEA
Key Responsibilities and Tasks:
Drive and executes supplier strategy with ownership to achieve the targets related to product portfolio (Sales, Volume, Inventory, etc.) Negotiate supplier conditions including purchase prices, lead-times, payment terms and other relevant conditions. Develop a strong personal relationship with supplier, secure regular and common reviews, ensure key products are clearly manage and target as per common strategy defined with supplier. Coordinate the cross-functional and cross-organizational collaboration within Univar (Sales, Marketing, Digital, Supply, Regulatory) to ensure an efficient execution of the commercial strategy. Identify concerns and opportunities in link with the product portfolio; ensure that internal departments are responsive and take corrective action. Develop and uses metrics and reports to analyze the commercial business impact and its effectiveness for the business in link with product portfolio. Continuously monitor market share by mapping suppliers & competitors activity Support of the global team for new supplier partnership developments. Coordinate a product assistant activitie
We Are Looking For
Minimum education: Educated to at least Bachelor degree or equivalent. Experience: Strategic sales or Commercial role (minimum of 5 years) experience in an EMEA B2B business Language: Fluent English (written and spoken), French is beneficial Personality: Excellent communication & presentation skills, self-motivated, flexible & organized Proven commercial judgment, attention to details, ability to work with IT tools and autonomous.
