Emergency and Critical Care Veterinary Supervisor, CVRC

We currently have a 16,000 square foot, state of the art facility with plans to grow in the new year. Our emergency center is staffed 24 hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to always support our community! Specialty services offered at CVRC include cardiology, internal medicine, neurology & neurosurgery, medical oncology (radiation oncology coming soon!), rehabilitation, soft tissue & orthopedic surgery. Our hospital houses an MRT, CT, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and digital radiographs for diagnostic imaging. About the Role:  As the Emergency & Critical Care Supervisor, you will lead and manage a dedicated team of veterinary nurses and technicians, ensuring exceptional care for our patients and their families. You will oversee daily operations, mentor staff, and foster a supportive and professional environment that encourages continuous learning and clinical excellence. Key Responsibilities:   + Leadership & Supervision: Directly supervise and mentor a team of emergency and critical care staff, fostering a culture of professional growth and teamwork. + Staff Development: Lead recruitment, performance evaluations, and training to ensure top-tier patient care and team performance. + Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the Emergency & Critical Care department, ensuring smooth workflows and optimal coverage. + Collaboration: Work closely with department leads, hospital leadership, and staff to maintain high standards of care and operational efficiency. + Communication: Promote open communication and transparency within the team and across departments to address challenges and implement solutions effectively.   Qualifications:   + Licensed Veterinary Technician (preferred) + Veterinary Technician Specialty Certification (preferred) + Minimum of 3 years of experience in specialty or emergency veterinary care + Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills + Ability to handle high-stress situations with diplomacy and professionalism + A commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families   At CVRC, we are committed to excellence in veterinary care, and our team is at the heart of that mission.
