Job Summary
Massachusetts General Hospital has opportunities available for experienced Inpatient Nurses to care for patients who are boarding in the Emergency Department (ED) while they await an inpatient bed. The ideal candidate will be patient and family focused, have strong clinical knowledge, enjoy collaboration and be comfortable in the dynamic environment of a Level 1 trauma center. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the processes of an ED and to develop a broad range of clinical expertise in a variety of adult inpatient specialties including Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, etc.Our nurses are authentic leaders within our hospital—revered for their clinical wisdom, valued as colleagues and recognized for the tremendous contributions they make to elevate patient care and enhance our capabilities.
