Emergency Communication Systems Engineer
  MAU is hiring an Emergency Communications System Engineer for Fluor in Greenville, SC. As an Emergency Communications System Engineer, you will lead the development and implementation of Emergency Communications system designs, providing technical direction and guidance. This is a contract, long-term assignment.

Shift Information 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering 10+ years of cumulative relevant experience CAP experience in 2D/3D Microstation, AutoCAD, or Revit Experience with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), IBC, ISA, and IEEE codes and standards Preferred Requirements Experience with Navisworks 3D model viewer Essential Functions Create 2D Riser Diagrams for Emergency Communications System equipment and field speaker designs Design field speaker circuiting, sequencing, and numbering Maintain and support a proprietary relational database for cabinets, panels, and field devices Prepare cable schedules and equipment lists Conduct clash detection for Emergency Communications System components using 3D modeling software and Navisworks Review and verify drawings and documents produced by other team members Address and resolve comments on design documents Perform other tasks as required
