MAU is hiring an Emergency Communications System Designer for Flour Nuclear Power in Greenville, SC. As an Emergency Communications System Designer, you will design, verify, and support emergency communication systems, ensuring accurate equipment layouts, data management, and conflict resolution. This is a contract long-term assignment  

Benefits Package 401k Life insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Short term disability Long term disability Paid time off Health savings account Shift Information Monday to Friday; 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Required Education and Experience Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience Proficiency in 2D CAD using Microstation Familiarity with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), International Building Code (IBC), ISA, and IEEE codes and standards Preferred Requirements Associate degree in CAD or Engineering Technology Experience with Navisworks 3D model viewer Essential Functions Develop 2D drawings for Emergency Communications System equipment and field speaker designs Create comprehensive cable schedules and equipment lists Provide database support for cabinets, panels, and field devices within a proprietary relational database Conduct clash detection for Emergency Communications System components using 3D models and Navisworks Review and verify drawings and documents produced by others for accuracy and compliance Address and resolve comments on design documents during the review process MAU does not offer any sponsorship assistance for this role
