Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required. Active pursuit of Bachelor's in nursing or Allied Health degree required and must be attained within 3 years of date of hire or transfer.Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as leadership skills required. Proficiency in Clinical Applications preferred at time of hire; incumbents within position will be trained appropriately and then skill will be required for this position within 30-60 days from date of hire.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinical Supervisor ensures expert nursing care delivery providing staff education, evidence-based clinical practice, and leadership.
The Clinical Supervisor directs staff in their daily activities to ensure the delivery of care according to established departmental policies and procedures in the absence of the Clinical Manager. This position assists the Clinical Manager with daily operations of patient flow, handling customer service recoveries, supplies and stocking, scheduling and assignments, and alternative for payroll duties.
This position establishes and maintains communication with physicians and other professionals to promote mutual understanding of problems and plans of care.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation
QUALIFICATIONS

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Potential for exposure to blood borne pathogens along with infectious diseases. Physical demands include but are not limited to consideration stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing heavy equipment and excessive standing and walking. Lifting approximately 25-50 lbs. frequently; lifting 50-10 lbs. with assistance occasionally. Some departments require the ability to distinguish colors.

The Clinical Emergency Department Supervisor will be able to triage, assess and treat patients of all age presenting for emergency care for all body systems, conditions and diseases including but not limited to: coronary, pulmonary, neuro, skeletal muscular, GI/metabolic, GU/renal, GYN, integumentary, etc..
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
This position report to Department Leadership and may supervise incumbents' as assigned. (Mainland, Hammonton ED)
