Hartford HealthCare network and is the systemrsquos second largest hospitalJob Summarybull Provides behavioral health counseling servicesResponsibilitiesbull Conducts patient assessments and establishes therapy treatment goalsbull Administers individual and group therapy Maintains thorough and confidential records of observationsbull Evaluates progress and effectiveness of therapy interventionsbull Provides patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the communitybull Responsible for precertification of patients seen in ED prior to admission into Inpatient Psychiatric Unitbull Responsible for obtaining patients prior history for patients medical physician psychiatrist mental health professional andor family member and communicates information to designated staff as required for appropriate treatmentbull Under the oversight of the psychiatrist provides appropriate and safe discharge planbull Under the guidance of the psychiatrist reviews
