Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services or their designee, the Patient Navigator is responsible for processing Emergency Department (ED) provider billing, prompt patient follow-up, and quality assurance activities. Interacts with providers, staff, patients and their family or significant others.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Education High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience Previous secretarial experience with demonstrated computer and word processing skills required. Medical terminology preferred Licensure and/or Certification None required. Skills Interpersonal skills. Telephone etiquette. Organizational skills. Data entry skills. Computer skills. Must have the ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
