In this role, you will have the opportunity to work under the direction of a Registered Nurse, performing all aspects of first-level patient care and assuming responsibility for maintenance of all emergency equipment supplies within the ED. You work will be vital for ensuring a safe environment for patients, visitors, and coworkers, as well as appropriately utilizing all resources involved with helping to provide exceptional patient care. Assist patients with activities of daily living as required to promote hygiene, comfort, nutritional intake, and safety as indicated in plan of careAssist patients with mobility through such activities as ambulating, use of assistive devices, positioning, transferring, ROM, and others as indicated by individual plan of careAccurately obtains and documents vital signs and measurements related to patient carePerforming specimen collection and obtaining EKGAssist and support routine unit-specific procedures and treatments related to patient careSupport all aspects of ensuring patient safety including detailed observation and reportingServe as a communicator with patients, family members, and staff to optimize quality careThe Impact You Can Make
