Emergency Department Technician
Fairview Range is seeking a passionate Emergency Department Technician who is looking for rewarding work in a fast-paced environment to join our Emergency Department in Hibbing, MN. The Emergency Department Technician assists in direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The Tech facilitates internal and external patient transfers, supports patient care including performing EKG, vital sign collection and other clinical duties as assigned by nursing or providers. Schedule: This position is part time, working 48-60 hours per two weeks, 12-hour Day/Night. Weekends: Every third weekend. Benefits: This is a benefit eligible position! Internal posting through 11/8/2024. About this unit: We are a Level IV trauma center and an Acute Stroke Ready hospital. We provide life-saving treatment to the seriously ill and injured 24 hours a day, with an adjacent Urgent Care department seeing lower acuity patients 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. 17 ER beds including 2 standalone trauma bays.
