SUMMARY
The EMT is responsible to transport sick and injured patients, both in a 911 and interfacility setting. Provide high quality patient care, assist with quality programs.

ATTRIBUTES
AHA BLS for Healthcare provider required
Valid NYS Basic EMT required
Valid NYS Driver's License required
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
Emergency Vehicle Operator Course (EVOC) or equivalent preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES
Respond to requests for service in both a 911 and interfacility setting
Operate SLH EMS vehicles safely
Assist with packaging and transport of patients
Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections
Assist with readiness of EMS operations
Provide patient care to NYS protocols
Operate stretchers, wheelchairs, and other patient transportation devices
