Work where you matter. **You Belong at Avera:** Competitive pay, various shifts to fit your lifestyle, and opportunities for career growth. **Exciting opportunity to join Avera Granite Falls as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)!** **_Position Highlights:_** + **Positive Work Environment:** Be part of an organization where we practice the mission in our daily operations and demonstrate our pride by delivering excellent care. + **Career Growth** **opportunities!** **Job Summary** + The EMT is accountable for performing basic life support service and emergency response calls in accordance with the established Minnesota Department of Health Standards, following standing orders and ambulance protocols. **Education and/or Experience** + High school diploma or GED required. + Healthcare experience preferred. + EMT Services experience preferred. **Licensure/Certification/Registration** + Minnesota State Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification required upon hire. + Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire. + Valid Driver’s License required upon hire. + National Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification preferred. **Work Schedule** + Varied 12 hour shifts + PRN - work as needed, per department policy + Must be able to take call at least times/month, which includes one weekend + Must attend month meetings **Pay** The hourly range for this position is listed below.
