Job Summary

Geisinger is seeking a board certified/board eligible Emergency Medicine physician for the department of Emergency Medicine at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital located in Jersey Shore, Pa.

Job Duties

As the only critical access hospital in the system, Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital (GSJH) provides skilled emergency care in an atmosphere that is both compassionate and professional. Its service area covers much of Clinton County and Western Lycoming County - an area with a population of approximately 45,000.

Robust emergency medical services program: nine state-of-the-art helicopters stationed at six bases across the system, two Critical Care Ground Transports in a regional model a strong and growing ground EMS agency including our nationally recognized mobile integrated health program.

Progressive care models focused on innovative early intervention and post-acute care options rather than historical reactivity to decrease hospital and ED congestion.
