The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of Emergency Medicine experience, or have gone through dedicated postgraduate EM training

Canton-Potsdam Hospital ED:

24/7 Physician coverageAPP shifts:10am - 10pm Rapid Assessment Zone (RAZ) - functions as a Provider in Triage Model8am - 5pm Main ED5pm - 2am Main EDLevel III Trauma CenterPrimary Stroke Center

Massena Hospital ED:

24/7 Physician coverageAPP shift:10am - 6pm Main EDCritical Access Hospital

OFFERINGS

Compensation: $100/hr or $208,000/year (Canton-Potsdam Hospital)$105/hr or $218,400/year (Massena Hospital)200 hours per year of paid benefit timeAPPs may float between EDs and work shifts at both locations, as per their preferenceSigning Bonus - $5,000Relocation - up to $7,500Paid CME - $2,000 per contract yearPaid Professional Fees - reimbursed for NYS license and registration, DEA registration, mandatory board certification fees, ACLS, PALS, NRP and ATLS (as needed)Paid malpractice insurance

EDUCATION:

BS: Physician Assistant (Required)

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: 

PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant - National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), RPA - Registered Physician Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant.
