Emergency Response Engineer

POSITION OBJECTIVE

\n\nEnsure human and technical resources availability and readiness to prevent or address an Emergency in the Mexico sites complying with local regulation and corporate guidelines\n\n

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

\n\nEnsure direct report team is available 24/7 to lead an emergency response\nDesign and manage the emergency preparedness training program to effectively respond to major emergencies in accordance with state and federal regulations\nEnsures technical training for emergency brigades is delivered as per site procedures roles and responsibilities. \nManage inspection/tests programs for facilities/equipment in order to determine their operational and functional capabilities in emergency situations in accordance with state and federal regulations along with Facilities management \nDesign and manage the fitness for duty program for volunteer brigade members, ensuring adequate staffing and recruitment. \nKeep informed of federal, state and local regulations affecting emergency plans, and ensure that plans adhere to said regulations and insurance and corporate guidelines\nAs required, provide support to operation through Risk Assessments, Highly Hazardous Work Permits, and non routine\nCoordinate with local, civic authorities on emergency/disaster response operations, including PIQ CLAM\nCoordinate emergency drill calendar, and follow up on Post Mortem meetings and action items. \nFollow BRP values and behaviors \nEnsure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics.\nEnforce Quality and EHS BRP policies\n\n

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

\n\nUse of emergency equipment (DC3/DC5)\nRescue operations\nMS office / Google office suit\nF.A (TUM optional)\n\n

Education:

\n\nBachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering (or similar \n\n

Experience:

\n\nMin. 3 years in Similar position at Manufacturing or chemical plant\n\n

Language:

\n\nFluent in Spanish  written and verbal.\nEnglish written and verbal (Min: 80%).\nKnowledge of French or German is an advantage\n\n
